However, I am pleased to report that throughout our ordeal your office was a constant source of support and stability.  The professionalism shown by your staff, and by you personally, was exemplary.  Moreover, the assistance given saved us substantial amounts of money, both by way of our claim (proof of loss), and in conserving our strained resources.

I would like to say a few words about John Carino.
 
We had a major disaster in our lives. On the evening of March 28 1998 due to a faulty surge protector, an electrical fire started in the garage. The fire and smoke was intense, but thank God we got out of the house. Unfortunately, our pets didn't make it. We were totally disoriented at the time, and slept at a neighbors house.
 
The following morning a near miracle happened. Through a neighbor we met John Carino whose integrity cannot be found in today's world. Within hours, he had arranged for us a beautiful house for us in Tottenville. Within hours, he also rented everything necessary to
set up house.
 
Without Mr. Carino (John my friend for life) I don't know what we would have done. I hope you never need his services, but should the situation arise, rest assured you will be in good hands, or and have faith in John Carino.

First of all, let me begin by thanking you and Donald Wilk for being lifesavers. Right after our fire I literally had no clue as to how to proceed. As if by magic, Don showed up and took charge of the situation. Within hours the breach in our home was sealed and within days most of the smoke was cleared out. Your company offered us a clear path back to normalcy.
 
In handling negotiations on our behalf with our insurance company, both Don and you were excellent negotiators. There is no doubt in our mind that your efforts on our behalf resulted in a settlement that allowed us to pay for all necessary repairs without worry.
 
We would like to invite you, as well as the insurance company, to inspect our premises any time after March 12, 2002, by which time all required repairs will have been completed. We hope that you will be pleased with the results. In summary, we found your company to be competent, honest and effective negotiators and should another family have need for your services, I recommend you without any reservation.
